Just wondering if we have any new MONTEGO owners on the forum and if you do what do you think?

 

I just wondered upon this site and thought I would join. I realize this thread was started 4 years ago but what the heck.

I bought a 2005 Montigo in April of 2005 for my wife. It currently has 80,000 miles and the only, I repeat, only thing I have bought is 4 tires. The car has not had anything break or need replacement since we bought it. The front breaks were replaced for free by the dealer after the warrenty expired because Mercury said they shouldnt have worn that fast.

We love this car, runs great, MPG is always about 25. The reverse sensing is great when backing up. I have no regrets at all about the purchase.

I also realize this is an old thread - but I have purchased the 2008 Sable (re-badged Montego). I'm glad to hear you've had good luck with that car. It gives me something to look forward to.
