Got the steering column figured out. It's $150 for the adapter, but he'll be the only Merc w/the Billet Specialties wheel.

Got the door panels installed, rear dash, headliner, and visors in, carpet in. We replaced the factory weatherstripping (was two toned w/the blue) with all oem black. Going to be puttin the seats in the next couple days, and got the brand new seat belt material coming (on back order).

nice
My car needs to be redone too... but it would need some body work done (to remove the rust that's starting under the carpet) first before laying down the new stuff.

car looks great, and obviously your the professionals but just a suggestion, i noticed you had chrome pillars on the doors, and chrome over the wheel base, it would look great to add the chrome along the bottom of the car as well because it would be a great match and make the car pop out even more than it already will.

Steering wheel hasn't arrived yet, so we've not got anything to show on the column (yet). No, we don't make custom steering wheels, but we do offer them for sale from some of our vendors for our clients. Accessories isn't a large part of our business, but just something we offer to our clients when they're getting full custom interiors. This way they don't have to go somewhere else to get their custom steering wheel, their rims, tires, lift kits, etc.

We didn't do the exterior, we're an upholstery shop. We've already suggested that the customer look into either chrome body molding/cladding, or look into custom chrome rocker panels. The car will leave here and go back to the paint & body guys to do final cut & buff on the paint, reinstall bumper & trim, and probably put the chrome trim pieces on as well. Once all that is done, we're going to have an unveiling of the car for the local rapper that owns the car.

Thanks Kevin, we'll definitely be posting the finished pics. We're planning a big unveiling party for the local rapper that owns the car. Going to have a dj, have PIE on the mic, some burgers & dogs on the grille, couple cars showing off, maybe some car wash ladies, and then unveil the car. Trying to coordinate something with RIDES magazine right now for the event.

Also, does anyone know where/how/anything about replacing the stock shift selector? PIE wants to add a chrome/billet gear selector, kind of like what you would find in a lot of mini trucks, etc.

Thanks,
-Josh

doesn't the shift selector just bolt on inside the column? If you take the plastic surrounds off the column to expose all the wires and such, you should be able to find this out pretty easily I would think. It may just be pressed on like the shift **** on the older cars that don't have the electronic OD disable button there. That's probably going to be the biggest hurdle for changing the shifter is fitting the OD on/off button.
