Marquis DeSoto- NY Times
#1
Hey guys, been awhile since I checked in. I see the
place has become spam heaven. Too bad.
Anyway, I saw this article in the NY Times a couple of
weeks ago, and thought you all might get a kick out of
it. This guy up in New York collects all sorts of car
parts and stuff, and was wanting a newer, reliable
vehicle, so he took a 98 Grand Marquis, and a bunch of
DeSoto parts, and kind of morphed it together. The
thing is sweet looking. And of course all us Mercury
guys can spot the Grand Marquis roofline right away.
Anyway, here''s a link to the story. Be sure to check
out the multimedia slideshow on the left side of the
page, to see better images of the car. (The Caddy is
pretty cool, too.)

Yeah, that thing was pretty cool, wasn''t it? I don''t
know what it is, but I liked it! The guy is definitely
talented. I wish I had some kind of skill like that.
I''m pretty lame at everything I do.
